He was a youth, much talented like me;
A popular guy, I liked him from first day;
With time, my friend best, he turned to bel
By luck, we are both physicians today!
We thought and spoke and joked alike with all;
He used to enquire and allay fear;
A dashing doctor, satisfied and tall;
We were thick friends with passing days, each year.
He loved to cheer all batch-mates, dance and sing;
A level-headed guy, ‘Jack of all trades';
Such friends although a few in life, joys bring;
'Tis rare to find such persons in decades!
God sends a human humane to ease things;
Friendship profound in life bliss always brings!
