Sonnet: The Holy Bible Poem by Dr John Celes

The Bible has examples of all things
That happen in our earthly stay may be;
It mentions problems faced by paupers/ kings:
And shows the way to reach eternity.

Answers to life’s complex queries are found;
It shows God’s love of wise and righteous men;
It also tells stories of lives hell-bound;
The Word of God can lead all to Heaven.

The Bible warns of punishments by God
To men transgressing Heavenly decrees;
Promising righteous souls immense reward,
And everlasting life of love and peace!

Treasured by all Christians, the sacred Book-
The Bible gives a soul, celestial look!
