Sometimes I Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sometimes I

Sometimes I

Sometimes I lean against window pane
Or date with table, desk
Lower chin, let it rest
On knuckles, in a palm,

Then open the owl's eye
Sharp ears of the dog

Hear, watch
Juxtapose

Animals and mankind

Deeply search for smart
Prefer the first ones
Just because I can't find
Arrogance! ! !

Am I wrong?

Cockroaches in my house
The dogs on streets and on leash
Give and take on errand
And the worms in the farm
I worked there to pluck…

Compare them to mankind…
Sometimes I

Sometimes I lean against window pane
Or date with table, desk
Lower chin, let it rest
On knuckles, in a palm,

Then open the owl's eye
Sharp ears of the dog

Hear, watch
Juxtapose

Animals and mankind

Deeply search for smart
Prefer the first ones
Just because I can't find
Arrogance! ! !

Am I wrong?

Cockroaches in my house
The dogs on streets and on leash
Give and take on errand
And the worms in the farm
I worked there to pluck…

Compare them to mankind…
Compare them to mankind…
I rather priors.

They know time
And man's tongue
Worms hear the foot sound…
But man is bag of fuss!

I rather first mentioned!
