Sometimes Disconsolate

Sometimes disconsolate the sweet bird flown
I conjure up old images and watch the sky
Impassive as a pearl
Never turning
Lucent are these days as well
And yet I cannot really tell
Time by the diffident turn of the wind
Articulation without leaves
The burden of the dreaming trees
I hear them sigh
And feel it as my own.
