So This Is Love Poem by Kevin Hulme

So This Is Love

When Love came it took hold of me completely,
Like a thousand cry's of ‘YES' it just ran up to greet me.
Out of all the Hearts in all the World she had to walk into mine,
It's the Oh I don't think we're in Kansas anymore kind.
My thoughts were once staid and so maddening static,
Now they clearing out the junk from the minds dusty attic.
Emotionally, Philosophically I was bound up in strong fetters,
Now every thing I see is in Uppercase Letters.
As for the first blessed time I hear the breeze touch the bough,
The Poetry in the flowers and all its beauty endow.
This Heart had the nourishment of a Saints frugal dinner,
Now it's hit with a rush like an habitual crazed Sinner.
If this is Love and all it's Jazz,
Then I'm sunk with all Hands by the kick that it has.

Thank you. I've added some more lines to it. Are we ever finished a poem? Glad you liked it.
