Sinking Poem by Nick F. Hawkins

Sinking

Why must we Sink
So low,
There aren't any
Monuments for the judgments
That cyber space bestows,
A tweet can make a soul bleed,
A Facebook post can kill self esteem
In the comfort zoneof a persons home,
These androids and iPhones are lethal
Ammo once taken off flight mode,
If we stick together we can rise
Out of this chaotic time zone,
Let's all rise and revive the lines
Of Maya Angelou,
Cyber bullying has got To go
