Simple Poems Poem by Germina Melius

Simple Poems

1.
walk before the moon
nature's gloomy face
darkness shrinks the light

2.
orange of my eye
vague on a tree
birds taking juicy fruit.

3.
green sea beneath
cows' delight, sheep eat carefreely
hurting the grass

4.
roses stand outside
lollipops in the parched soil
a child picks three

5.
rain caresses head
frosty fingers on my face
sun taps the grey clouds

6.
catch youth's hand
time walks away like ants
eyes follow the trail

7.
haiku, green tea
the forest meets Basho
the spirit enjoys

8.
faces blooming
haiku in the atmosphere
Basho loves the sight

9.
cherry blossom face
impossible to hide time
an old collection

10.
for his translations
ten acres of cherry blossoms
my spring gift to Hearn

11.
love peeping
panic at the door
philophobia

12.
on the doorstep
the wonderer waiting
a bee interrupts

13.
busy streets
stuck in combs
bitter honey
*
people held hostage in
a cocoon
butterflies plea
*
death and paranoia
tormenting storms
things are turning grey
*
startling cough wishing to hide
corona blossomed in our countries
pandemic walk

*
pour me green tea
my heart craves like
spring
