Silence Starves A Love Sometimes Poem by Gio Masserati

Silence Starves A Love Sometimes

Rating: 5.0

Starving
Is this at all possible?
Starving for connection from only one
Source is blurry and feels empty
I can't go to sleep without putting this here
Out here, there, where you are not, and where you are
I am empty too, a mess without you
What more can a girl do? Or a man?
Falling asleep with my head in my hand
Not wanting to disappoint you or an empty mail box
So you know, I haven't been lost on your account
Just overly consumed with the worries of the world
And always you, occupy square footage in my head
Along with my heart that you share with endless art
If by way, you're missing me as much these days
Know, nothing's changed! I'm just as starved as you...
Although, just as starved as Love, too!
We need desperately to share in mutual spiritual meals
Even though, no matter what happens, love's will remain
In all ways,

Love Remains
