Shooting Star Poem by Joseph Dela Sulh (losembe)

Shooting Star

A star in the sky came down
After a long long vacation

The whole family went happy
To the point to get all crazy
Contemplation on short notice
Just like a shooting star
Everybody longs to see bliss
Be it very close or very far

That was the case with no issue
Every single eye from the waiting
To the sight of it turned new
The experience was direly unifying:
Enemies became even besties
And both contended to knot the ring

A star in the sky came down
After a long long vacation.

What does that mean all the time?
Though willing to go back to time.
No answer can fill up that question
No question can it be well-asked.
Not only that experience well-lived.
The shooting star bears questions:

Where from? Who is she? Why now?
How healthy? How happy are parents?
As answers, from high above the sky
She's the shooting star expected
Healthier from the happiest parents.
Live the moment to get answers good.

A star in the sky came down
After a long long vacation.
