Shangrila Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

Shangrila

Shangrila

Somewhere out of a time, an unkown place,
A place remain in this heart,

Sometime in searching,
Continue seeking,

An utopian longings for Shangrila.
Where the sky and earth embrace forever for a perfect union,

Man becomes a woman, and vice versa.
There will be no misunderstanding because they would be able to understand intimately each other.

When love goes astray and lovers seek this fantasy world,
When love dies and lovers go on separately ways,

On this land of broken hearts.
Echantedland, where lovers wish they will find the
Out of a place, unfound.
