Self-Portrait Of The Sun Poem by Leon Moon

Self-Portrait Of The Sun

When the whole world's at your fingertips
the last worry
is when time stops.

No need to hurry,
you're the only one who commits
any kind of theft.

I seek revelation
Live to be born
I never forget
I'm the last soul left,
Always intelligent
Self-portrait of the Sun.

Clothing my self naked in never
we inspect our ether
and laugh forever.

Now I have your attention
in my mouth
step upon my hand.

I seek revelation
Live to be born
I never forget
I'm the last soul left,
Always intelligent
Self-portrait of the Sun.

I'm a concept alive, actualised,
Every patterned return parallelised
in retributions of yourself, in disguise.

Construct reality with the will of your mind,
intentions are veins, statues plastered with brine,
mirrors of gold we're made to find.

I seek revelation
Live to be born
I never forget
I'm the last soul left,
Always intelligent
Self-portrait of the Sun.

When the whole world's at your fingertips
the only worry
is when time stops.
