Seeking

What were you seeking and what did you find:
the justifications found in an unleashed mind.
Did you find goodness or see a darkness;
with the honesty unabashed of all crimes.
Were you the person you hoped you'd be;
perhaps you were lacking at your core.
Abhorrent behavior left you loathing yourself
cursing the sinner, kneeling before the saint.
Were your crimes ones of passion or stealth;
in the end the justifiable overtakes the wealth.
The seeker lost in hebetude sank into blue.

Whenever one gives up his soul to sin,
is seeking for the forgiveness begins.
Look down deep in your open heart
tell me is it whole or an empty part.
I am not here to judge anyone.

Seeking forgiveness may ease pain
But, my brother why did you maim?
