Search your soul my love
look deep within yourself
You'd find a little girl
still clinging to her dolls

saving all her childhood tears
the dragons of her dreams

searching for those loving arms
to whirl her all around

shining toys and silver bells
were gifts of solitude
empty words and broken vows
were handed on a silver plate

scared to miss a step she quit
to skip and dance and sing

Too scared to love
too scared to trust
too scared to give her heart away- -


its time you put your dolls away
its time you wiped those tears

Its time you took another chance
to make your dreams come true
