Scarring The Sphere Poem by Sven Rhoads

Scarring The Sphere

Inside the empty black space
Floating in a state of nothingness
Ten thousand lacerations
Forming from the thoughts in my mind
Eternal shadow cast over me
Devils whisper insecurities
The purest form of defiance
Covers me like an oceans wave

Yet another hook pierces me
To hold me back to keep the zero
Bruises of all my impurities
Must be cleansed with the quiet storm
Every scar to tell a story
To wear like a badge of honor
Every dawn a great new battle
Emotionless, one with the grave

All to rest behind blue eyes
Muting the sounds under flesh
No one truly knows what lies inside
Just beneath the snow white surface

Beaten with his own mind
Scorched by the burning soul
Scarred with every memory
Just to remain in total silence

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I silent man is never silent for his mind is a warzone
