Same Soul Imprint (Sonnet #69) Poem by Tina Rizk

Same Soul Imprint (Sonnet #69)

Some people are not meant for one lifetime
We find within them the homeland we seek
The heart, the love, genuine and sublime
The words, the deeds, honest and meek.

We feel we've known them for eternity
As if through them, parts of ourselves we found
They know our flaws and still love us deeply
Our bond is beyond compare, deep, profound.

The world dissipates with you sweet soulmate
There's just you and I in this universe
Who carry the same soul imprint by fate
True love merges hearts as one. Save my verse.

Sweet is love between us, exceptional
Your tenderness abounds, sensational
