Rumi and Shams Tabraiz,
A friendship that lit up the skies,
Two souls that merged as one,
Their bond, brighter than the sun.

Shams, the wandering dervish,
Sought a kindred spirit to cherish,
In Rumi, he found a kindred soul,
Their friendship, destined to unfold.

Together, they explored the divine,
Their love, an endless, flowing wine,
In each other's company, they found bliss,
Their friendship an eternal abyss.

Shams taught Rumi to break free,
To see beyond what the eye can see,
To feel the beauty in everything,
To dance and sing, like a bird on a wing.

Their friendship, a divine union,
A story, beyond human comprehension,
Rumi's poetry, a testament to their bond,
Their love, an eternal, sacred bond
