Roll Call Poem by Sakib Jamal

In the world school-
The "Conscience Master" Roll Calling-
The presence of the animal at a classroom of animal.
Each member of the group is informed about the presence of the animal by shouting.

Donkey?
- Present, Sir.
Monkey?
- Present, Sir.
Vulture?
- Present, Sir.
Wolf?
- Present, Sir.
Etc... last roll call -
People?
- Present, Sir.

The Conscience Master become astonished-
Human presence has decreased, others have increased -
Others are so much louder!
Conscience Master ponders-
Rolling his eyes and said-
Why human presence is low? Want to know.

Then some donkey said- Before we were human!
Then some monkey said - Before we were human!
Then some vulture said - We were human before!
Then some wolf said - Before we were human!
We have been in this state- by getting conscience and intelligence lost!
Even though the population has increased so the number of human (having humanity)has decreased - alarming!

Conscience Master is worried, hands on cheek,
Sitting down, He think, if such a reverse evolution is go on,
UNESCO will list as extinct animals -
The name of the human - do not know when!
"Be the human again" says - the Conscience Master,
Finished the Roll call at the World School.

People: Mass people, Human: people having humanity.
World School:Thinking world like a school and classroom of animal.
