River Poem by shuvo chakraborty

River

I saw the river explicit upon the chins
That flowed incessant in dry months
With water unblemished by incantation of vows
Which not rend in the air to pacify the remorse.
Cold water course cutting across the soft edges of bones
Without the rocks assembled from high hills of bosom
And underlying not the crucial hours with words dropping,
No boat man will float in such scorching noon
Nor the teenage divings from the high summer bank
As the water is too shallow beyond the glimpse constant.
