Rewards Of Spring Poem by Hanna Abideen

Rewards Of Spring

Rating: 5.0

Over the bitter lyrics of winter
Permeates the sweet maytime.
Leaves sprouting on emptied trees
Tempting my poetry to fulfill desires.

Dew drops decors herbs whispering,
Unspoken tales of hues of rainbow.
Blooming tulips and hyacinth
Apprising the arrival of spring.

I praise not the posy of lavenders,
But the fragrance when it blooms
'cause I'm that kinda spring
With an invisible broken wing.

Butterflies in lawn flapping their wings,
Swaying trees spreading aroma of springs..
How art starts to overflow
Where I thought I won't overgrow.
