Resurrection Of Donne Poem by Jagdish Singh Ramana

Resurrection Of Donne

Rating: 5.0

Resurrection of the dead tree;
Twas standing merely for me.
Today sprouting with green hope
Makes me lively and proud of.
In the dawn my eyes looking through
A couple of pigeons by heart flue.
I grow red and pink
My heart throbs for thee and sinks
Into the waves of love.
Oh! hold me for I am Donne!

A wonderful poem indeed on the resurrection of valuable life that is almost gone. Short and to the point the poem has an amazing flow while narrating the tale. Thanks for sharing. A must read for nature lovers.10++++++

I like that you write with such a passion and you have a gift of imagination. I would also like to ask you to work on your punctuation (not everyone reads your poem the same way as you) . And also shouldn't it be " flew' instead of " flue" .

I appreciate the positive vibes that the poem exudes so generously. It talks of 'sprouting with green hope... Makes me lively.... In the dawn' and the like. Fascinating Images reflecting a romantic mood and a reference to John Donne- the poet of love- are rib tickling. Thanks for this beautiful poem.
