Reconciliation Poem by Priya Pareek

Reconciliation

In the quiet solitary night
when darkness creeps,
the night stays awake
and the world that sleeps
Disappears in the dark
and hides behind the night,
Like dogs they fought in the day
at night they unite.

Like a candle melts for flame
She melts in his arms
Like a moth flies to fire
he surrenders to her charms.

They drop their guards
And care not for the world
They look into the eyes
And speak not a word!

For words can't express
What they feel
Love they want from one another
And love they steal!

Wrapping her in arms
He hugs her tight
She drops a tiny tear
Sorry for the fight!

She amalgamates in him
He turns off the light
This is how they reconcile
This us how they unite!

And cupids fly around
To bless them love and peace
Its all part of this life
They wisely preach!
