Recalling Poem by Sagi Writes

Recalling

star-spangled sky,
and the night breeze whispers
words of goodbye.
the scent of verbena
brings back
all the memories of us
under the ivory moon.

us, holding hands
while walking
amid the waltz of a
thousand fireflies.
Your ebony eyes smile
as warmly as the rivulet flowing
under the twilight of July.

the rustling
of leaves and grasses
unravels
the croons of late summer.
whilst our faces
are on the verge of blushing
under the touch of the moonbeams.

only the caress
of your memory
is with me right now,
wandering alone
beneath the same sky.
perhaps some stories
are better left untold.
