Reality, The World As We Experience It, Know It

Reality, "the world" as we experience it, know it—
when we speak about it, reality is largely a function
of language, memory and emotion, the governing emotions being desire, love, hatred and fear, terror, and some
sundry others. We choose (desire) to speak about certain
life events, certain people and places that impact us
the most for better or for worse—we feel joyous, happy,
depressed and remorseful in doing so, our emotions often mixed at the moment of disclosure—we feel triumphant
and failed, happy and sad, loving and hate-filled at the same
time. In a word, we are complicated, failed creatures who
don't always understand ourselves, let alone those with whom
we interact wherever and whenever. In the end, we need
experience various failures to keep ourselves going, hope-
filled, our lives full of desire for so-so-many-many things.
