Ravines And Canyons Of Silence Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Ravines And Canyons Of Silence

Rating: 5.0

Hooves beating on long mountain trails leading one
into ravines and canyons of a silence that carries
memories upon floating clouds above.

Moving rapidly onto desert plains and into another
sunset that captures mind and heart in the folds of
a lonesome yesterday.

Featuring the wild and untamed poet as life continues
to ride into another place far from this moment, need-
ing to get the peace of another landscape.

Painting a portrait of what could have been back in
the day, no longer wanting to be there now though, for
there's little time left to reminisce.
