how I admire your will
your gifts
and your nature

how my eyes light up when you
come into view or thought
then soften to opaque oceans

How your words seem to move me
How I feel better in your company
how your most pronounced beauty
emanates from the soul

but you are
and for that and the time and the smile
I thank you…you fill my book
and memories with beauty
