Silence doesn't always mean
That it's inactive or a morbid state.
Ultimate violence and the loudest roar
Is hidden in silence only.
In a solitary place they all get brewed
And finally get matured also but very silently.
A violent volcano or tornado or storm
Forms silently in a solitary place.
When they break out with a roar and devastation
We can only know witnessing them
And surrender so helplessly.
All the biggest activities occurring in this universe
Are happening and maturing so silently being unnoticed only.

Really great poem, Amitava! And so very true in life and nature. Even when we are in our mother's wombs, we are silently growing, then coming into the world with a loud cry! I love this poem, it's so simply true about most things in this temporary life. I'd give it a thousand 10's if it were possible! Please keep writing, write a lot more, you're an excellent poet, Little One! RoseAnn
Truly Sid Sir, Silence has the advantage that it helps even a volcano to grow from its initial stage and get its full potential undisturbed by any disturbance whatever.. thanks for sharing.

The title of the poem drew me in here, and the poem kept me captivated for a while. Truly, silence is poweful and has its own language. It seldom speaks, but when it does, it roars!
