Poem No: 60. To One Who Is Busy With Drudgery Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Poem No: 60. To One Who Is Busy With Drudgery

Rating: 5.0

To one who is busy with drudgery,
Spending holidays with the family
By celebrating the merry Christmas
Is truly sweet, pleasant and glorious.

To one who's been confined for a long time
In a cell for a serious crime,
This earth seems to be true paradise
When he gets freed from prison for few days.

To one who has liked and loved somebody
For a long time badly but silently,
'Tis so blissful to spend with her darling
For some time in a park by whispering.

But the very joyful moments glide by
As the sunsetting beauty fades quickly.

Beauty seems to fade as darkness approaches. Maybe there is some other beauty to see. Thank you for comments about my poem, I will enjoy reading your poems.
