Poem Hunter Has Been H A C K E D Poem by Kim Barney

I got a message today
from someone I had never heard of.

This person thanked me
for rating one of his/her poems.

The problem is,
I had never even read that poem,
much less given it a rating.

A similar thing happened to me
about a year ago, and once more
before that.

I seldom bother to rate poems at all,
and only do if I feel that the poem
deserves a rating of five stars.

I believe that someone, somehow,
has hacked into Poem Hunter
and can make it appear
that he/she is someone else,
leaving comments and/or
giving ratings to poems.
