Petty yet generous

That hill and vale
Sky above azure and gold
And the earth beneath
Green, lovely and fair
The perfume of blossoms in the air
And the rustling of trees and boughs
By the breeze seemed so rare
Stirred his heart strangely
Upon softness of lily and rose
To spring forth a prosy song
Loud and fair all day long
With a plaintive thought
That none would care his song to hear
Yet he sang for the joy of song
When at the moment solemn
Was passing by a wayfarer
Grim but a just one
Little did he know that
The song was a sweet one
Yet touched his soul with the spell
And went home a new man
After blessing the singer with
All good wishes and the singer
Realised his foolishness for
Not being more sincere
That could have brought him more cheers…
Yet he sang for the joy of song...........beautiful visuals...................nice............
a passing exchange from which both gained. lovely write.
When we sing in joy, its reverberations leave others also happy! Without our own knowledge, from us flow energy... positive or negative..... Let us be the radiators of positive energy! A very sweet write with wonderful descriptions of the smiling Nature!

Beautiful poem. He sang to his heart full knowingly no one is listening to his song. He never knew his song was a sweet one and could have brought more cheers. That means he sang without realising anything. It may be because of that the song turned out to be sweetest one. Loved reading it.
