People like it

"liquor shops shall remain open"
this announcement brought a hope of heaven
the people were out for celebration
even with 70% of corona tax there was jubilation

long lines for liquor
as if it was honor
to give thirsty a blessings
liquor, no doubt, remained choice for human beings

people were confine indoor
there was no choice except to lay down on floor
no other option for entertainment
drink was the only way for happy moment

no doubt, the social distance was observed
but queues were long and to be served
with demand under grave threat
it was wish and long demand to meet

you will find no dearth of finance
people were ready to take chance
avail the bottle and go home
it was really golden day to welcome
