Pebbles Poem by Susan Williams

Pebbles

Rating: 5.0

.
Pebbles of time
washing down the streams
piling up
on the beaches
where boots on the ground
without foreseeable end
came to shield and protect
waiting a long time
for their story to be told.

Revisiting this verse reminded me that the greatest sounds can come from the tiniest souls. A gem, Susan.

Wow! Great write! Pebbles have endless stories buried under the thick sand. Not enough listeners around ever.
