Peace Poem by Chandra Shekhar Dubey

Peace

Rating: 3.0

Peace

Peace comes from within sprouting
Like plants from rotten seeds in souls
As blossoms in spring.
It is truce of the self with the warring minds
The suoremacy of silence over cataclysmic sounds
Where the string of soul strikes notes of harmony.
It is enlightenment of Budha out of a sea of agony spread over clouds of misery,
Darkness of death.
Peace is word of Iove in godly virtues
And saintly words which flows through
Krishna's flute, and Nanak's words
Mira's madness, Kabir's vani, and Gandhi's gospels.
Peace is a journey of self through a sea
of troubles.
Foaming with discordant notes and sunken
ships of some Odysseus sick for home
In a sea of perils.
Peace is purgation of self through
The rivers of fires.
An art of living with self for home and hearth.
