Ourjawans.Are. Off. To. War.Front
it is heartwarming
as our brave jawans fly out
to war front, beaming
full of verve sans any doubts
as reckless foes stare at rout
best wishes to our boys
expect them to be back soon
their kids wait with toys
to play with dad and watch toons
for hero, kin wait and root

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It is war-like situation between India and Pakistan. Our soldiers (called Jawans in Hindi) are getting ready to fly out to war front full of confidence. We know our forces are far superior and our cause is just right. We expect these soldiers to come back soon safe and tobe back with their families.
