Ordination Poem by Marquita Lawson

Ordination

We have a God so powerful and mighty,
He's the One who is loving and kind
My ears had been opened to a world so inviting,
my eyes are no longer blind
"Come feed My sheep", I hear You calling -
In a small still voice to me
Holy Spirit guide me- - Holy Spirit show me how

I've have walked through the darkened valleys
and forged on through the raging storms
I've been safe through the deepest floods
because I'm safe in Your loving arms
I'm climbing Your holy mountain - -
I'll seek Your Sweet, Sweet Face
You have chosen me, Lord, - -You've filled me with Your grace

I raise my eyes up toward the heavens,
and praise Your glorious name
Jesus, my Lord, my King forever,
over my heart You'll always reign.
"Come feed My sheep", I hear You calling -
- in a small still voice to me
Holy Spirit guide me- - I need You to show me how

Let's lift our voices now
and sing Hallelujah to our King
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
We lift our voices now
and sing Hallelujah to our King
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
