One Tiny Seed Poem by Brooke Renwick

One Tiny Seed

Rating: 5.0

One tiny seed,
absorbs water.
The one leaf grows,
first to find the sun.

Then two leaves,
become 500 leaves,
all from DNA.
And 20 years later,
or 100 years.

The tiny seed has,
become 5000 leaves,
with a woody trunk,
bark and roots
that grow deep.

The tree is a part,
of a diverse forest.
It breathes and
has a life force.
