One Lifetime One Chance Stacked Odds Poem by Terence George Craddock

One Lifetime One Chance Stacked Odds

Rating: 5.0

it is true that each life
has only one lifetime
and one chance to reveal
all potential all possibilities

therefore God is fair to each
is born one lifetime one chance
all will have limited length lives
breathe a limited number of breaths

but is this fair it seems some
are born with the odds stacked
born with insurmountable stacked odds

not with privilege silver spoons
but broken plastic spoon in mouths
with no spoons dirty fingers to eat offal
