On The Eve Poem by anais vionet

On The Eve

Rating: 4.5

Where'd you go boy - I've no way of knowing.
Life without you's, less fun, than as I was hoping,
if you asked me, I'd have to say I'm coping,
but there are definitely times, I feel less devoted.

Hey, I've told you over and over and over again my friend
that what I need, obviously, is seduction.

Don't you understand what I'm trying to say?
Can't you feel the need that I'm feeling today?

We're back in class now - it's already getting stressful,
and you know how quickly unwinding gets essential.
I've gotten used to things I shouldn't say,
If I get desperate, there'll be hell to pay.

And I've told you over and over and over again my friend
that what I need, almost immediately, is seduction.

Take a beat boy, I don't wanna be unfair here,
With any luck, you're already on a plane here.
I can hardly wait, my blood is boiling,
this is the last plea, I'll be employing.

I think you understand what I'm sayin',
and I think you know, that I'm not playin'

cause I've told you, over and over and over again my friend
that what I need, immediately, is seduction.

AND here as well: 'but there are definitely times, I feel less devoted.' Hey, I'm just sayin'. Are you partying too much or TOO LITTLE? You look like life is good in your photos.

These ARE just poems - not always the deepest truth, sometimes just ideas

'desperate'? ? Maybe try: 'The Best G-Spot Vibrator: Lelo Mona' 'Hell to pay' is kind of harsh! ! ! ; (

Seduction is an art, not everyone is adept at.

4 stars is pretty good - I'll take it! Besides, you helped me fix it.

[[cont.]] *** 'TONGUE IN CHEEK | English meaning - Cambridge Dictionary adjective [ before noun ] uk / ˌtʌŋ.ɪnˈtʃiːk / us / ˌtʌŋ.ɪnˈtʃiːk / meant to be understood as a joke, although it might appear to be serious'

I WONDER how much is 'tongue-in-cheek' humor. You have humor as a topic (among others) . Gee, maybe I should NOT use the 'tongue in cheek' *** reference here; you might go crazy. [[ cont. ]]]

(cont.) Maybe your poem's title should be On The Eve Of Seduction, .....OR Destruction! ! ! ! [[ Eve of Destruction' is a protest song written by P. F. Sloan in mid-1965.[4] Several artists have recorded it, but the most popular recording was by Barry McGuire.' ]]
