On Magical Clothing Part 1 (On Stars As A Magical Clothing) Poem by Nathan Coppedge

On Magical Clothing Part 1 (On Stars As A Magical Clothing)

Rating: 5.0

Black may in some sense contain stars like dust—

Red may contain extra heat—

White is full of random energy…

Blue is more universal…

Purple has summations of energy—

Yellow has signs of life—

Green is deeper than it seems—

Amber, has met with strife…

Gold, has taken many forms—

Ore, has withstood heat…

Light, is not without a world—

Sometimes I think of this as my best 'astronaut poem' - although I'm not an astronaut, I can imagine lonely astronauts far from Earth feeling reassured by this poem.
