roaming man of our clay clan
in find of life, joy and lengthened earth
all round the globe as utmost task
in spent of sweat, time and muscled mind
to make a kill or killed as penury's trash
chill please, my spill sits down your earth
every man has his day
and every man his fame
why waste to rat race, a pitiable slave,
a used and dumped history's vain?
or fright exchange of no worth weight
short glitter, long bitterness of endless pain
a tempted trap of stark, dark hate
against destiny foreknown as great
close your doors: wood, steel and flesh strong
sink deep within, let meet, your core and God
both have your matter as prime point of discuss
both have your desire as an achievement done
but hey! dear man, are you ready for instruct?
will you follow his words or trash as sore dross?
every man has his day
and every man his fame
in obedience straight, not halved or slain
in allegiance of faith, 'THY WILL BE DONE AGAIN'
against deceptions sweetly dangling apple of hate
against oppressions cruelly hurting to derail
till the last of the words is finally obeyed
and pour in rain, desires from heaven's gate
every man has his day
and every man his fame
in richness, greatness, wellness ordained
in tranquil of soul, preserved life that reigns
every man has his day
and every man his fame
