Nowhere Fast Poem by Sven Rhoads

Nowhere Fast

Across the universe they've made out of wires
No pulse in the heart carved from stone
Feeding the dead with venomous propaganda
Breaking down the bonds between you and I
Following the playbook to their sweet desires
How can they say that their skin is their own
Words as daggers but inside stupid banter
Hear my last words, silence severs the ties

A breeze came out of the north
And swept the opinions away
Cut are all the webs and cables
For technology makes them a slave

Rain washes away the stains of the old
Moonlight will guide my way out
As I feed the mind to greater horizons
Nowhere fast is where I shall go
Networking to cancel, gain peace through scold
I shed like a snake until no doubt
Sun will bath with colors where I reside in
Filthy fingers only fools will behold

A fire burns where no eyes can see
And frost so deep to keep it in place
As the earth opens its art to my world
No gizmo will make a zombie slave

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
No invention humans make can replace that of the worlds art
