Now Poem by Eli Spivakovsky

Now

do you bounce beneath harps?
do you adjust your wings according to your note?
do you spring a waltz that cannot be forgotten?

do you make love to the sky ***
do you open your legs to the sunset
or are you just a gypsy with no home?

I have something for you
a kiss, a thimble
a square-design as part of a children's book
a hexagram, in fact

so do you love me?
give it up
I have 3 minutes for you, and you have spent 10

O lousy lover
does your heart beat faster for me?
does your hair part itself for me?
do your eyes moisten and become dew-like?

do you hide a diamond for me?
give it up
I have 6 for you, and 1 for me
now figure that out
and it will be a happy marriage

Now...go!
