No Nice Title Poem by KOMBE SAKWE KOFI

No Nice Title

That day we woke up before the sunrise
Surprised and amazed by sunset
Friendly but dangerous like sea tides
Misused and treated lesser than a pet

Took what they wanted how they wanted
Shackles round our necks and hands
Reap hatred and destruction off seeds planted
I free my mind I be taking what is mines

Freedom of exportation and import
Individual identification before entry
Ban goods and stamp taxes on export
Laws we never had in our said "country"

Take like the mafia enjoy the pension
No remorse applause like a trophy
Enjoy the art this is a legal profession
Come early in your dream like I'm Freddy
