Nightmares Poem by Ludolf Dauphin

Nightmares

As daylight begins to fade
Midnight darkening
Mysteries unfold
Fears of the unknown
Emptiness deep in the soul
Struggling impulsively
Lost memories buried,
unravel within shades of hues
Moonlight, silvering stars
Only eyes of the night
Puzzled by what there can't savvy
And as the sun begins to rise
Immorality and obscurity faded
to no more endless affliction
