New Baby Poem by Practicing Poetess

New Baby

Rating: 5.0

When I first brought you home,
I looked upon
Your pretty little sleeping face
And realised that what I beheld
Was a perfect little package,
A promise being fulfilled,
An empty page on which to write.
And I vowed, then and there,
As you trustingly slept in my arms,
To choose carefully
The words that I would write
Upon that beautiful blank slate.

thank you, Louis. This is the way parenthood should be- - taking it seriously, the responsibility we have to shape and help define a new life.

Pretty little face of baby not only attracts attention of mother and grandmother but also attracts attention of all. Carefully they nourish the baby. Much love baby gets in new room in new family. A tender perception of affection is beautifully presented in this poem. This is an excellent sharing done here...10
