Never knowing them
You never get to hear their voice
See their smile
Laugh
Or
Love with them


It all appeared
then disappear
In a matter of seconds

They were gone before you ever met them
And somehow
You loved them

Now you are lost
You can't comprehend this

Who could blame you?

You had never been closer
And somehow
You were always so far

No one knows what has happened
No one, yourself included,
Could understand

There is no explanation
And somehow
You still try to find one
