the source of bread

as many souls

as many fishes
the source of bread comes
the source he waves in the sea
as many birds
the source of bread comes
with the ability to use
their wings and to be free

the layers of the mountain
strengthen the foundation of the earth
the layers of the planets
determines one's birth
the layers of the clouds
takes imagination far and wide
the layers of intelligence
gives reason to decide

the stages of life
takes you on a journey
from the cradle to the grave
the stages of learning
as you learn to creep
until you can climb the mountain
and be brave
the stages of a butterfly
from a cocoon to a caterpillar
before it could fly
the stages of wisdom
begins with patience
and truthfulness
is revealed before
one must die

in the flowers
