For her
There wasn't any reason to doubt my words;
In fact
No one doubted those words.
I had leafed through the entire dictionary,
And scraped my memory,
To choose the right words;
I limited my choice of words,
To those that sounded sweet to the ear
Gave pleasure and comfort
Even if, repeated.
I told her straight -
‘I love you.'
‘I cannot live without you; be mine forever.'
And she did not question me.
You see, she knew and accepted these words,
My words, she could never doubt.

Beautiful poem. And a right choice of words really benefits. Beautiful expression.
