My Senses Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

My Senses

Rating: 5.0

All my senses

I look like i look at you
But my eye is focused away
Though i look at you now
There's someone else on my mind
She is the one i want to see

I look like i hear you talk
My ear hears another voice
Though i appear to listen
All i hear is you squeak
I long to hear someone else

I look like i enjoy kissing you
My mouth longs for other lips
to taste someone else
I kiss you with open eyes
close them for someone else

I look like i enjoy touching you
My hands long for a certain skin
Though my hand strays on you
There's a body i enjoy fondling
Someone i do not tire holding

I look like i like your perfume
My nose misses another musk
Though i sniff you all over
There is someone else i like
Someone whose smell i miss

I have used all my senses
In all tongues its the same sentence
Its goodbye love
Au revoir ma cherie

Sad on part of love which failed to sustain and maintain relationships. Sad that it lost to deepen its root to bear fruits. Painful poetry.
