My Mom Poem by victoria martinez

My Mom

Rating: 5.0

Brown hair long with curls at the ends
Clean skin with light freckles scattered
Blue eyes deeper than the sky
Cool hands that grasp mine…
We are crossing the street “look both ways”
I lay in bed and cough she brings me relief
Holds my head tells me she loves me
Rubs my forehead till I’m completely asleep
She’s my alarm clock and she gets out on time
She’s my strength I’ve seen her deal with all kinds
She’s my personality that’s why I’m rude and bitchy
She’s my heart although our bloods are different
She’s my laughter although she made it die
She’s my cries because no one brings me pain like her
She’s my all time favorite woman
My one and only mother
