My Lover Poem by Mehrdad Dadkhah

My Lover

Too long has passed
since i let my lips have a taste of yours,
since our skin warmed each other,
Sine since i gave up my
Yet too short for my memory to give up on you
Too short for my arms not to ache for your  feel empty
For my eyes to not long for your smile.
Next time i may say hello such prognostication i may hold.
How i wished i could burn the world for you as you were enough for me.
alas, i was not the chosen one of your heart.
How long has it been my heart?
Have u calm down or not?
Next time i may sing u a song a poem of sort filled with hearty laughter, i foresee such days so just let it go.
Next time.
Yes next time, i may bring u somewhere and hand u to someone who values mercy more
My heart! Would u just stop beating so hard each we think of her.
As i look at the mirror i promise you we gonna make it through.
My eyes next i shall not dry u out to get rid of the sorrows
Next time i may let feast on the truth i shall promise you this to not blindfold you.
My knees have gone weak since u left and how hateful that the summer still reminds me of u
How the sound of the clock makes me recall all the time i waited for u to come
Oh my how agonizing it is that i can't stop dreaming about u
How sad it is that i still love u
How unfair that world has bullied my mind so much
